The origins of the International Institute of Management dates back to 28 December 1980 when this Institution was inaugurated during the 1980 World Management Congress by the then Union Minister for Commerce, Steel and Mines, Hon'ble Shri Pranab Mukherjee. Since then this Institution has been engaged in the preparation of different types of curriculum for management oriented education in the international perspective besides bringing out many publications / study materials on different areas of management.
